Settling In

Frank is settling in well in his foster home. He's a smart boy who has quickly picked up the household routines. He's doing well with steps only stumbling every so often. He certainly is not the slightest bit concerned though. Hardwood floors haven't fazed him either. I'll have to get him out and out to some pet friendly retail establishments with different floorings so he can acclimate to different floorings and settings.

He's been a very good boy interacting well with his canine and feline foster siblings. He seems to like them all. It's always interesting with a foster to see who they will pick as their buddy. Frank has not decided on his buddy yet. I guess he wants to get to know them better.

Frank is very sweet affectionate dog. He's very people focused. He wants to be with you all the time--which his potential adopter will have to make sure they don't dote on him too much initially. He bonds very quickly and too much attention while he's settling in could set the stage for some separation anxiety.

So far he's shaping up to be a dog that with some basic obedience training and environment acclimation would likely make a really good therapy dog. He's very friendly. He's still young and exuberant, but as he settles in, some of that exuberance will even out.

Frank has gorgeous eyes that could melt and iceberg. He is actually a strikingly good looking dog.

He is curious and likes to investigate things. He would probably be a good match for a pretty outdoorsy, active family. He does like his downtime though and true the typical greyhound, he takes some serious naps. As soon as you move about though, he's ready to go.

Frank LOVES car rides and rides really well. He settles in and lays down getting up just occasionally to see where you are.

Frank has the potential to be a fabulous companion and best friend for the right family. I could not have asked for a better behaved, fun, sweet and loving foster greyhound.
